Thirty guests on a weekday.
A fixed example of the planner's answer, written out in full. Every figure is a sample assumption for this fictional venue, not a quote or an available date.
What this example uses
| Guests | 30, children included |
|---|---|
| Format | Seated meal |
| Season | May, June or September |
| Days | Monday to Thursday |
| Food and drink | Sample allowance added, €60 to €100 a guest |
Under cover. Thirty is well inside the pavilion's 80 seated, so the group also fits under the roof. Its sides are open, so a weather plan is still agreed before the date.
Not priced here. Music, AV, flowers, photography, an officiant, transport, accommodation and any changeover between a ceremony and dinner.
The answer
Courtyard layout 1, four tables.
- Venue, net
- €3,950
- VAT at an assumed 18%
- €711
- Venue package
- €4,661
- Food and drink allowance
- €1,800–3,000
- Venue plus food and drink
- €6,461–7,661
How the venue figure is built: seated base €3,000, plus €5 a guest (€150), plus €800 for May, June or September, plus €0 for Monday to Thursday, then VAT. The weekday is already the lower day band; Friday to Sunday would cost €826 more.
The allowance already includes supplier tax; no second VAT is added. It is our assumption, not a caterer's quote.

Open the full planner- 80 guests seatedSeated, May, June or September, Friday to Sunday: venue €5,782, food and drink €4,800 to €8,000. Fits under the pavilion roof.
- 200 guests standingFriday to Sunday: venue €5,546, food and drink €12,000 to €20,000. More than the pavilion's 120 standing, so no covered option for everyone.
